EM80I, "80 years of Donetsk region"



Donetsk region in present borders (including temporarily occupied territories) has been created by the decree of Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR of June 3, 1938.


From June 1 to June 31, 2018 in honor of the 80 anniversary of creation of Donetsk region the special call sign of EN80I will be active.


It is necessary for obtaining the diploma for HAMs from Europe to score 80 points, from other continents – 40 points from June 1 to June 31, 2018 for QSOs on the 80 – 10 and 2/0,7 meter bands and any mode.


QSO Points:


- stations from Donetsk region count 2 points per QSO;


- members of Druzhkivka Club of Radio Amateurs count 5 points per QSO;


- EN80I count 20 points per QSO.


Stations may be contacted once per band and mode on phone, CW, and digital (RTTY, PSK and other modes count as digital).


SWLs from Europe need to listen not less, than 40 stations from Donetsk region, and SWLs from other continents – not less than 20 one. Observation of EN80I is equated to two on the 80 – 10 meter bands and to four on 2/0,7 meter bands.


QSO only with official call signs of amateur radio stations will be set off.



The application for the diploma as the extract from the log goes the e-mail without text with the attached file of the application and the instruction in subject of the letter of the call sign and the word "DONETSK", for example: "uy7it DONETSK". The format of the file of the application can be any (*.txt, *.doc, *.cbr), but Kabrillo is welcomed. The name of the attached file with the application has to be the applicant's call sign, for example: us4iti.cbr, etc. It is necessary to specify in the application call sign, Full Name, the name of the diploma and the e-mail address to which the diploma has to be sent.
