Grodno, one of Belarus’ oldest towns, celebrated its 890th anniversary. In connection with this event, radio amateurs of the city and the region use the call sign EV890G during the period from September 20 to October 20, 2018. Rules of Grodno-890 award:
To get an award you need to score 890 points from September 20 till October 20, 2018.
QSO with a special callsign EV890G - 100 points,
For QSO with radio amateurs of Grodno city - 50 points,
For QSO with radio amateurs of the Grodno region - 30 points.
Repeated QSOs are allowed on different bands and different modes (CW / SSB / DIGI)
For QSO on 1.8 MHz, VHF and up - points are doubled.
Points also double during City Day, which is celebrated on September 20.
For radio amateurs from North and South America, Australia, Oceania and Antarctica, points multiplied by 3.
Radio amateurs of the Grodno and region use prefixes EU4 / EW4 / EV4.
