Hello and welcome to the QRZ page for the special event call VD1NUQK!
This is a special callsign put in place to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the USS Truxton and USS Pollux naval disaster that happened off the coast of Newfoundland in 1942. NUQK were the callsign letters of the USS Truxton.
The Callsign will be active from the 26th of January 2019 to the 26th of February 2019. The operators of the call will be Jaxson, VO1JQB, Aaron, VO1FOX and Mike, VO1AX. We will be active on HF and VHF by all three operators at different times of the month.
